UKCA Marking requirements are postponed

In September 2021 it was announced that the deadline for withdrawal of the CE marking and mandatory UKCA marking for the GB market was being postponed by a year to 1 January 2023.

UPDATE: On the 14th November 2022, the deadline was further extended to 31st December 2024.

Although products must be marked as UKCA from 1st January 2025, this can be a temporary label. UKCA marking is permitted on a separate label or an accompanying document until 31st December 2025 when permanent marking of the UKCA logo and associated UK address will be required.

Permanent marking of the UKCA logo and associated UK address is now required by 1 Jan 2026.
